What is an "artisan" candy?
An artisan candy is handmade in small batches. Addington Confections toffee is an artisan candy.
What are the ingredients of Addington toffee?
The traditional English toffee is made of sweet creamy butter, sugar, almonds, a signature blend of chocolate and walnuts. Simplicity at its best!
Your toffee comes in a one pound box. What if I need a smaller size package?
We have smaller sizes available for weddings and parties. Contact Susan for special ordering tailored to your individual needs.
What is the difference between "Chocolate Lovers" and the Traditional English toffee?
The Chocolate lovers' toffee was designed to address the tastes of many of our clients who love a deep, rich, dark chocolate. It seemed a perfect fit with our smooth, rich toffee. The Traditional toffee, on the other hand, focuses on preserving the comforting and familiar flavors handed down by our ancestors. |

Can I order your toffee without nuts?
Yes! The beauty of Addington Confections is we can tailor your order to your needs.
My friend raved about your candy but I am afraid of hard candy. Is your toffee soft, or hard?
It's decidedly not a soft candy like "taffy." There is a satisfying "crunch." Because we use a slow cook process and no corn syrup, you might consider our toffee to be softer than many offered on the market. Please remember that each batch of toffee is handmade. So, if you have special needs, we can make the toffee softer during the cooking process. Or, you can open the box and let the elements soften it for you.
What is the shelf life of your toffee?
The boxed version stays fresh for one to two months. The jar, which is hermetically sealed, lasts for up to four months.
